Stepping into my Newport studio feels like entering a calm little cocoon. The first thing you’ll notice is the soft natural light streaming through sheer curtains—perfect for those dreamy, timeless newborn portraits. The soft music and gorgeous calm sent sets the scene for both the newborn and their parents.
Designed for Comfort
My camera is taking a few moments to relax before the baby arrives
Every corner is planned with your baby’s comfort in mind. Neutral tones, plush textures, and warm layers create a soothing environment. I alway suggest that parents and sibling also wear similar tones. From the cozy pouffes to the gentle rugs underfoot, everything is chosen to keep baby relaxed—and parents at ease.
Thoughtful Details
A softly glowing candle adds a peaceful scent and a warm touch. My favourite candles is from The White Company. Its called ‘Love’ and the fragrance of amber, tonka bean, oud is devine. It moves to back of the studio when the client arrive, for safety, but the studio smell beautiful.
Layers of freshly laundered blankets wait to swaddle your little one in comfort. I use natural fabrics and soft baby skin detergent that are gentle on delicate newborn skin and photograph beautifully.
The Perfect Light
Im so lucky to have large windows and flowing curtains give me flattering daylight that makes studio flash unnecessary for most sessions. This soft illumination highlights every tiny feature, from sleepy lashes to perfect toes and ensure your newborn can remain as undisturbed as possible.
Your Experience
During your session, you can relax on a comfortable chair with a hot drink while I gently guide your baby into natural poses. Sessions are never rushed—your newborn sets the pace, so we can pause for cuddles or feeds whenever needed.
Booking Your Session
Newborn portraits are best captured within the first two weeks of life, when babies are still super sleepy and curled. I recommend booking while you’re still pregnant so we can reserve your ideal date. Saying that babies sometime have other plans. Thats fine we can change times to suit the new VIP.
