For nearly two decades, I’ve photographed weddings across the Isle of Wight and beyond — from intimate celebrations by the coast to beautiful country houses and everything in between.

My approach is simple. I want you to be completely present in your day.

I’ll gently guide you when you need me and melt into the background when you don’t — quietly watching for the people, the atmosphere, the laughter and all those fleeting little moments you didn’t even realise were happening.

No performing for the camera. No spending your wedding day on a photoshoot.

Just beautiful, honest photographs of your wedding as it really felt.

Calm when you need it. Invisible when you don’t.

During the ceremony, I’m quietly in the background — watching for the moments that matter. The nerves before you walk in. Hands held a little tighter during your vows. The look your parents give each other when they think nobody is watching.

I’ve photographed weddings for 20 years, so I know when to step in and when to step back. I’ll gently guide you when you need me, keep family photographs moving without turning them into a military operation, and occasionally round up a wandering groomsman who’s found the bar.

When the formalities are over, I follow the energy. The hugs, the laughter, the speeches, the confetti, the dance floor — all the brilliant bits you planned and the ones you didn’t.

And when we steal ten minutes away for your portraits, there’s no performance required. It’s simply a chance to step away from everyone, breathe, and be together.

The person behind the camera.

I’m Mandy, an Isle of Wight photographer with a love for people, beautiful light and the moments that happen when nobody thinks I’m watching.

I’ve been photographing weddings, families and people for almost 20 years, and experience has taught me that the photographs we treasure most aren’t necessarily the perfectly posed ones. They’re the expressions, the connections, the laughter and all those tiny moments in between.

I’m calm when things get hectic, gently bossy when twenty relatives need organising, and very happy disappearing into the background when the moment doesn’t need me.

Away from the camera, life is wonderfully full — family, horses, dogs and usually far too many photographs of all of them.

Mostly, I want you to feel comfortable enough around me to forget about the camera and simply be yourself.
